About us

ROBO FEED is a brand that was created by the Assistec company, a leader for 25 years in the mechanical and electronic support of CNC machine tools, to respond to the needs related to Industry 4.0 in the engineering market.

Thanks to the deep and detailed knowledge of machine tools in 2019, it was decided to create the new business unit dedicated to the integration of machine tools with robot cells, designed, manufactured and installed by our technical team.

We are a company with a consolidated know-how that allows us to provide our customers with a complete experience consisting of a product and a 360° service.

Our added value?

We are the only Italian partner capable of integrating a CNC machine tool with a robotized cell that has been studied, designed, manufactured and installed.
Our comprehensive approach covers the entire project life cycle to ensure perfect synergy between the machine tool and the robotic system, thus optimising overall efficiency and productivity.

Our Method

Our Method starts by putting people at the centre and listening to the needs of each individual company.

Listening to the needs, our technical team proceeds with the following steps:

1.

Analysis

We analyse the production process and the company's needs, considering products, CNC machines and capacity and autonomy targets. This allows us to understand the customer's needs and identify the areas that can benefit from automation.

2.

Feasibility Study

Our technical team carries out an inspection at the customer's premises and draws up a detailed feasibility study. We assess how a robot cell can be integrated into the production process, considering space, flexibility and safety.

3.

Design and Simulation

We develop the automation project in close collaboration with the customer, ensuring that it is flexible and compatible with the existing machine park. This collaborative approach guarantees a suitable and efficient solution. We use advanced software to simulate the proposed solution, identifying solutions and optimisations. This step is crucial to ensure a smooth installation.

4.

Production

The production of customised components takes place through selected suppliers in Italy, guaranteeing high quality to the required standards. To ensure project conformity, we set up the island within our assembly area, replicating the configuration that will be installed by the customer.

5.

Installation

With the simulation approved, we move on to installation. The team of experienced technicians takes care of the installation of the system at the customer's site. Working efficiently to minimise downtime, we ensure that production can resume quickly.

6.

Robotics consulting and support

After installation, we continue to provide specialised advice and support to ensure that the automation always works, as well as any subsequent implementations.
