In particular, <strong>robotic cells<\/strong>. But what exactly are they? Many entrepreneurs interested in evaluating new technologies to innovate their businesses are also asking themselves the same question. <strong>Robotic cells<\/strong>, together with their <strong>programmed robots<\/strong>, constitute a complete and <strong>independent<\/strong> production module designed to <strong>streamline and optimise work processes<\/strong> within a company. This calls for the integration of <strong>anthropomorphic robots<\/strong> or <strong>robotic arms<\/strong> to facilitate the operation. Workpiece <strong>gripping systems<\/strong> enable these cells <strong>to optimise production by executing coordinated and rapid movements<\/strong>. They can also be integrated with <strong>2D or 3D vision systems<\/strong> that allow the robot to quickly identify the pieces to be handled.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Robots_in_robotic_cells_cobots\"><\/span><strong>Robots in robotic cells: cobots <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Another evolution has taken place in the realm of t<strong>raditional robots<\/strong>: the advent of <strong>cobots<\/strong>, representing the frontier of <strong>industrial automation<\/strong>. The term &#8220;cobot&#8221; is derived from the combination of two words \u2013 <strong>CO<em>llaborative<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>ro<\/em>BOT<\/strong> &#8211; and refers to one of the most advanced <strong>intelligent automation<\/strong> solutions on the market, <strong>capable of merging operational and integrative flexibility<\/strong> In most cases, cobots are significantly <strong>smaller and lighter<\/strong> than classic robots. An additional advantage of cobots is that they do not require the use of <strong>protective nets or gates<\/strong>, which are often cumbersome.
